UXBRIDGE NAZARENE CHURCH  STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

TO WORSHIP GOD
Because all is from God!  This means we must constantly be asking the question, “How are we worshiping God in this service, this ministry, this activity?”  Does the music, prayer time, message, etc. lead toward worship?  Are we worshiping him in our Sunday School classes?  Are we teaching our children to worship?

TO WALK IN CHRISTLIKENESS
The result of our being reconciled!  We teach the Lordship of Jesus in all areas of life through discipleship and role modeling.  The Word of God is eternal, infallible, and inspired, and we must live in obedience to its precepts.  We are accountable to God, to each other, and to the body of Christ.

TO WORK IN THE MINISTRY
Work!  There is a place here for you to use your God-given gifts and talents.  It takes everyone working together to make the church effective, so we need you!

TO WIN OUR COMMUNITY
Because God gave us this ministry, we must share His love with others.  We have ministries that reach out to our community, and offer help in community needs.  We make our voice heard when issues arise that violate God’s moral laws.  We want souls to know that Christ died for them.
